Happy Sunday, friends! I cannot believe we are just 9 days away from Christmas!! It seems like this season has just flown by and as I was talking with my husband earlier today we also realized that there’s some Christmas fun we have yet to get into… like going to see Christmas lights, decorating holiday cookies, etc. Needless to say, we have a lot we are going to stuff into the next several days, including finishing our shopping!! Eek! Tonight though… I wanted to share our Christmas home tour with you guys! With this only being our second Christmas in this house I was still trying to figure out where everything should go, etc. but, I enjoyed the process and love how it all turned out this year. So, here’a a little tour of our Christmas decorations!
Starting in our living room – I loved how our tree turned out this year! It’s warm and cozy and definitely pairs well with a fire on a cold night! I decided to keep the coffee table simple this year because a lot of evenings Jack brings his toys to the living room and plays on the table. Plus, we have been encouraged to play tic-tac-toe as well which is always fun.

The green and red pillow above is so special to me as it belonged to my great grandmother! And below, in the corner is our Star From Afar Nativity set. Jack has enjoyed having this set up this year!

My favorite part of our kitchen is the sweet Santa & Mrs. Claus salt & pepper sets that are atop the cabinets above the refrigerator. Most of the sets were my mom’s and I can’t remember a Christmas as a kid where they were not displayed. Are you catching a theme here? I’m a nostalgic!

The centerpiece on the table was inspired by a display from The Findery in Waco. The magnolia leaves came from there and they were displayed similarly to how I have them here. I loved the idea and decided to recreate it here at home for the Christmas table scape. I love the way it all came together – classic, rustic & cozy.

Our entryway also took on a rustic feel this year & I’m so happy with how it turned out. The quilted blanket & pillow were hand made by a volunteer at my previous job who would so sweetly quilt all of us an item each year for Christmas. Ms. Suzanne was such a sweetheart & I’ll cherish these items forever!

More nostalgia… Our red stockings!! My aunt has made each of these for us… mine from when I was a baby, Jack’s when he was born almost 4 years ago and Matt’s after being in the family for 10 years! HA! It is a joke because it took so long for him to get his but, none-the-less I love having these sweet stockings and will cherish them forever & ever!

A couple of close-ups as our home tour comes to a close. I stumbled upon this beautiful yet simple nativity scene several years ago at Hobby Lobby and absolutely love it! And a close up of our fireplace mantel – I’m loving the stockings shifted left. A look I think will be carried out for years to come.
