Goodness… I know it is cliche but, I cannot believe that 2019 is already here! And we’re a week + in now. Overall, 2018 was a pretty good year. I took some leaps personally and professionally, experienced losses and am growing into someone I have dreamed of for years. I realize how cliche that sounds as well but, it is true. I love the month of January though… not only do I get to celebrate my two favorite guys this month, it’s also such a good time to sit back, evaluate the year prior and plan out the year ahead.
Matt & I sat down a few days ago and went over our goals for this year and one big goal for 2020. So much revolves around our work goals but, they directly correlate to our personal goals. Typically when I look at our goals I don’t feel a lot of confidence (I know, not how goals are supposed to make you feel)! But, this year I feel nothing but confidence and excitement for the year ahead.
As for the blog here… March of 2018 is when I officially launched the blog. I have enjoyed having this little space on the internet so much! I thoroughly enjoy writing and plan to write much more this year. I enjoy sharing recipes, home decor ideas for different seasons and DIY projects. We used to do so many DIY projects at our previous home and I think we got burned out. But, I plan on sneaking in a handful of great DIYs throughout the year! As much as I enjoy writing for my own creative outlet though, I love writing for you all as well! I would love to know what you would be interested in reading here on in the coming year. I am looking forward to this coming year – not only being more present here on the blog but, forming more relationships with you all. When I find out that there are readers and followers from around the world and just on the other side of the DFW metroplex, it seriously makes me so happy and in such awe. I am humbled that you all are here and a part of my little slice of the internet. Cheers to a productive and successful 2019!
